批判互動設計作業05 / M10210308 / 陳敬恆

Users can get  information from the machine through the behavior of their ‘check in’ in the work space, being printed by thermostimulative that people can carry, throw or anything else at discretion. The goal of this project is to promote a relationship between people who work in a same space, but in long term, there is a problem that the thermosensitive paper will be a method of wasting papers, and then it is impossible to control that how people using the information, rather than only using it for social they might throw it away or deliberately spread it anywhere. In addition, people will repeatedly receive a similar information of great fatigue that they might lost interests from this after a long time.

About the transmission of information, it is better than thermosensitive paper that use electronically, then users can get information on their own mobile devices when they ‘check in’ at the work space, and this not only solves problems with supplies and environmental issues but also saves time of printing. People can get the information fast. In addition, through the electronical method, we can provide a service on it that the relevant setting of personal information or information protection could be changed on user’s own mobile devices or computers, and it can also allow people to add something special messages on their own information, therefore, the usage time of this device could be more long time.

We are hoping for a design which can make a chance that people can get familiar with each other at same place, but this project ignores that the human is all complicated, and it supposes all the people all enjoy social activity and they just need a “chance”, that ignores some people who are withdrawn in a group and it is certainly have gossip in a work space which will affect a mode of coexistence between people. According to above-mentioned state, the design of this project will make problem more badly and some people even do some aggressive things through it, therefore the design can lead people to change a strained relations between themself or actively help solitary people as possible.

Being able to seek the pleasure and extra value of work has become the goal of a majority of people. A company is always pursuing efficient collaborations and the best performances of every employee. Therefore, this project is likely to be needed by various enterprises in the future. It may create a trend that companies start to pay close attention to the productivity which will be enhanced by tacit understanding between the employees, such effect may change the working environments, structures and values for many businesses.
